I know what the decisions feel like from both sides.
My experience spans more than 18 years in fashion, luxury and jewellery, including work within Kering, international commercial leadership, the management of a 12-boutique luxury retail network and work with more than 50 wholesale clients.
I later brought that retail and corporate experience to co-founding and developing an independent Made in Italy swimwear and resortwear brand. Over three particularly challenging years for the sector, I helped establish its international distribution and secure representation through five showrooms across different markets, while overseeing product development, Italian production, pricing, margins, Shopify, wholesale, international fairs, customs, logistics and retail relationships.
That double perspective matters. Brands need to understand the realities of buyers and stores; retailers need to understand what makes a brand commercially and operationally sustainable. Double Y Studio connects both.
